LTTC Diploma in TESOL
Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages is the most widely recognized qualification for English language teachers who want to become expert in the industry. It is highly reputed due to its challenging expectations and thorough curriculum. TESOL is considered as a minimum requirement for the position of a Director in language-teaching institutions both locally, in Asia, Eastern Europe and world over. To many employers, TESOL is seen as a welcomed qualification for the position of a manager and trainer in their English teaching Institution. Dip.TESOL course allows native and non native speakers of the English language to train to become English language teacher trainer and manager. The course is helpful to those who are already in the ESOL professionals.
 
Admission Requirement
Eligibility 
  • - Applications for course - participation must be aged 23 or over (generally recommended)
  • - Have an awareness of language and a competence in English, both written and spoken, that enables
  •   the participants to undertake the course and prepare for teaching a range of levels. 
  • - Have the potential to develop the necessary skills to become effective teachers and to successfully
  •   complete the written assignments and the assessment of teaching practice.
  • - Have a standard of education equivalent to TESOL 120H or  university degree + 2years of ELT practice.
Admission Procedure
A pre-task work is taken to prove your fluency in English Language.Legalised copy of your highest diploma and [identification documents are required]

Language, teaching and learning

Unit 2:
The teacher as developmental, reflective practitioner - internally assessed and externally moderated. 
Cultural Diversity
Unit 3:
Phonological theory in classroom practice.
Foundations of Instruction for Non-English Language Background Students
Unit 4:
Teaching, to include learner analysis, preparation, delivery and self-evaluation 
Second Language Acquisition
 
By course completion, students will:
•understand how language is acquired
•understand what constitutes errors in a language
•know the principles on which modern language teaching is based
•understand what phonetic and phonology are
•know which methodologies can be used to teach English
•know how to use materials and aids to teach English in the class
•know how to organise the class
•know how to design lesson plans
 
Course Requirements
Preferably, students should have a degree-equivalent qualification. However, the most important consideration is that students must be fluent in both oral and written English.
